About Us

Mia Christina was created by Aimee Leyva, actress turned stay-at-home mom. She is most happy when creating, whether it's sewing, crocheting, or just plain designing.

What inspired her to make these cute creations? Her two daughters, Noelle and Mia. They are girly girls who love fun clothes. But when it came to hair accessories, Aimee wasn't too crazy about what was out there, so she started creating her own. After many people asked her where they could find them, she started Mia Christina, (named after her youngest daughter).

Her designs include silk flowers, crocheted flowers, fruits and bugs and felt flowers. Some are made with Swarovski crystals, and all are handmade by Aimee herself. Her oldest daughter, Noelle, helps with design ideas and loves to model the clips.
